Our client is looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager/Strategist. This role will involve both strategic ideation and comprehensive planning, as well as client partnership and consultation. Our ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in content marketing based digital campaigns. Experience including planning and developing lead capture and nurture-based marketing campaigns, hosted by a marketing automation platform and leveraging demand generation tactics across a variety of mediums including email, display, social, earned media and content syndication. The role requires a multifaceted leader who can develop a successful plan and guide, counsel, and mentor their team to realize that plan to a successful outcome. This candidate will have deep functional expertise across the full marketing funnel with mostly B2B audiences and a deep understand of the channel and partner marketing space (Microsoft Partners – ISVs, SIs MSPs, LSPs). The Sr. Marketing Manager/Strategist will have functional leadership for our clients Marketing Team, working closely with a variety of teams (creative, technology, project management) within the delivery organization. 

Requirements

  • Develop marketing strategies and end-to-end execution tactics for client opportunities focused on garnering Marketing Qualified Leads

  • Articulate and assist in client facing presentations detailing our GTM services offered by our client

  • Provide guidance and/or execute media planning and execution for strategic clients

  • Provide thought leadership around digital marketing within each client engagement, and potential client opportunity exploration

  • Manage partnership opportunities with technology or media buying partners, assist in assessment of these partnerships and ongoing engagement to fulfill media service offerings

  • Utilize deep understanding of media practices, usage patterns, emerging technologies, ROI analysis etc. to bring innovative ideas and tactics to client campaigns.

  • Work in close partnership with the Partner Manager, Program Manager and the GTM Marketing Team as needed to define and develop materials for Microsoft Partners (ISVs)

  • Day-to-day management of the GTM Marketing Team for project execution, guidance and prioritization

  • Work in close partnership with the full GTM delivery team as needed (Design, Copy, Project Management, Accounts)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 7 to 10 years’ marketing experience working within an integrated agency that has had a strong focus on digital, 4-5 years in a management role

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree from accredited University in business, marketing, communications or similar experience

  • Proven success in the development of digital campaigns, specifically across various digital mediums

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and can work under pressure to meet very tight deadlines

  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure

  • Be able to see "the whole picture" without losing sight of the details

  • Possess a "get-it-done" attitude

  • Be flexible, enjoy challenge and accept change

  • Strong management and interpersonal skills
